While there she spent two years traveling the nation, visiting with and entertaining their nation’s veterans throughout 48 states. When her tour wrapped up, she joined college.
For the next ten years, Amanda was an educator teaching kindergarten, third grade, and sixth grade English in the Union City Area School District, . She really enjoyed teaching, and also loved working with the students, their parents, and the staff at UCASD. She joined the news family as the weeknight news anchor in the summer of 2001.
Post enjoys making many personal appearances at charity events, educational forums, and local fundraisers. He favorite hobby is singing. You may have seen her perform at the start of many big sporting events, singing our national anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner.
