He marked 30 years in local broadcasting in September 2022, and has been covering the local teams for more than a third of that time. He produces and anchors all of KIRO7’s sportscasts and specials including coverage of March Madness, GameDay Live, and the Emmy-nominated Scouting Report, which is seen every Saturday night during the NFL season.
Chris has covered it all, from Super Bowl parades, excruciating goal line defeats and “The Trade”, the birth of the NHL’s Kraken and the ongoing Mariners playoff drought. During his early years at KIRO, he dabbled on the news side of things. He previously worked in Milwaukee, Washington, D.C., Wilmington, N.C., Norfolk, VA and Portland, ME. During his free time, he is learning to play hockey, on the golf course, or enjoying family time with his wife, Alexis and his kids.
