Magnoli is a Chief investigative reporter working for CBS12 News. In January 2021, Magnoli returned to The Sinclair Broadcasting Group and CBS 12 News. After two years working for FOX on Space Coast (Brevard County, FL), he is back to lead the station’s special projects unit and act as Team Chief Investigator. Since the end of the Space Shuttle Program, Mike has covered NASA, SpaceX, and the first manned spaceflights from American soil. While in Central Florida, he also reported on breaking news and the cruise industry.
Magnoli previously covered the Parkland School Shooting, the DNC Pipe Bomber, and the Ft. Lauderdale Airport Shooting while working for CBS 12 News. He was located in Boca Raton and covered southern Palm Beach County and South Florida. Before moving to Florida, Mike reported for WTIC in Hartford, CT, and KATC and KALB in Louisiana. Prior to working at CBS12 News, he worked at Fox News Orlando as a reporter from December 2018 to January 2021. During his time there, he reported live at 5 and 6, and he turned two stories daily with flair, facts fairness, and frankness.
Additionally, he worked at Tribune Broadcasting in Hartford, Connecticut before joining Fox News. There he served as a morning Live Shot Reporter from December 2011 to July 2015. While there, he served as the FOX CT morning news air from 4:00-10:00 AM. He also worked as a reporter at Cordillera Communications in Lafayette From May 2010 to October 2011. He is an advocate for shelter cat & dog rescue and adoption. During his free time, he enjoys going to the beach, reading, and collecting vinyl. He is thrilled to be back on The One To Turn To.
