Prior to that, he worked at WTEV-47 based in Jacksonville, Florida where he served as a morning news anchor from October 2002 to July 2008. He had previously spent 4 years working at KDAF-TV based in Dallas, Texas where he served as a news reporter from November 1998 to October 2002.
From July 1997 to November 1998, he worked at WCTI-TV based in New Bern, North Carolina where he served as a weekend news anchor. Prior to that, he worked at NCN5-News Northland Cable News based in Forest City, North Carolina where he served as a news anchor. He went to The University of North Carolina Asheville where he attained his Bachelor’s degree.
