Giggy is WFAA’s Feature reporter. He is happy to be part of the WFAA-TV team. Prior to joining the station, he worked as a Sports Director for four years at KWTX-TV. There, he anchored and produced sportscasts reports throughout the week, highlighting area sports and athletes.
Before that, he served as a Sports Reporter for 2 years at WAOW-TV. Here, his work was shooting, writing, editing, and producing stories about local athletes and teams. He began his journalism career in his hometown, serving as the sports editor for The Herald-Press. He attended Huntington University where he graduated and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting in 2008.
For his work, he has won an Edward R. Murrow Award, many national and state awards, and an Emmy, an Edward R. Murrow Award. Also, he is a 3-time winner of the “excessive talking” award on his elementary school report card. During his free time, he enjoys watching any and every sporting event, traveling, singing, and baking.
