From August 2016 to May 2018, Esteve worked at KOMU-TV where he served as a reporter and anchor based in Columbia, Missouri. During his tenure at KOMU-TV, he was in charge of anchoring the morning sportscasts and anchoring a sports segment of the KOMU 8 News morning show. He also produced a 30-minute sports extra special for KOMU 8 Sports on Sunday Evenings for 16 weeks.
