Davis serves as an investigative reporter as well as the Saturday and Sunday evening news co-anchor at FOX2 based in St Loius, Missouri. On joining FOX2, he started off by serving as a weekend writer/editor. Prior to working at FOX2, he worked at the Suburban Journal newspaper where he served as an advertiser and selling newspaper. Due to his career working as an investigative reporter, he caused changes including the overhaul vehicle emissions testing program of the Missouri legislature and governor. In addition to that, his investigations also sparked the termination of Wellston School District in St. Louis County’s school board and superintendent.
Davis has also won several awards and honors including the 2018 Regional Emmy’s Silver Circle and the 2019 Regional Murrow Award for Excellence in Social Media. FOX2 won the 2002 Emmy Award for Davis’ best investigative report as well as the St. Louis Black Journalism Awards in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Moreover, he also received a ton of Emmy Awards nominations as well as the Illinois Broadcaster’s Award.
Davis also received the National Black Journalist Award for best television series. He went to Vashon High School and later on joined Cornell University in Ithaca, New York where he attained her bachelor’s degree in political science. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
