She’s always busy either hiding out doing surveillance following scammers and lawbreakers, escaping a burning house with the help of local fire departments to show the best way to avoid the flames, or scuba diving with police looking for evidence of a cold-case murder. Charlevoix is her favorite Vacation Spot in Michigan and “Haven’t Met You Yet” by Michael Buble is her favorite song.
Before she found a place to call home at WDIV-TV, she moved to Montgomery, Alabama WHOA-TV, then to WTVC-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee, next to WJXT-TV in Jacksonville, Florida. Drew has won many awards including awards from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, recognitions from a variety of non-profits she works with volunteering her time, Society of Professional Journalists, as well as awards and Emmys.
When she’s not at the desk, on camera, or behind the scenes doing her investigative work, you are likely to find her with her two daughters and hubby. Going to sporting events and concerts with Paul are some of her favorite things to do, playing on the swing set with Morgan, and riding bikes with Madison.
