After graduating from Kennesaw State University she worked in news for four years at CNN. While there she decided to change careers and traveled to Australia to live and work for a year where she found her next passion- weather.
Copeland moved stateside again and attended Mississippi State University’s online program where she obtained her degree in Meteorology. She also has her NWA seal of approval. During her free time, she enjoys fishing, camping, paddleboarding, surfing, playing tennis, snowboarding, and anything outside.
