Raus is a news anchor for FOX 61 at 5 and 11 p.m. Previously before joining the station she worked at WVIT-TV, the NBC affiliate in West Hartford as a general assignment reporter from April 2007 to May 2015.
While at WVIT-TV, Amanda covered different major stories, spending almost 14 hours on-air throughout the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School and braving the elements during the 2013 Blizzard, Tropical Storm, and Superstorm Sandy,
Prior to joining the NBC affiliate, Raus worked as a fill-in anchor and general assignment reporter at WSHM IN Springfield, MA. She started her career in October 2014 at News 12 Connecticut where she served as a freelance associate producer and reporter till 2005.
