Bavaro is a weekend morning anchor and reporter for FOX61. Before joining the station he worked at WBOC in Salisbury, Maryland where he served as a reporter and weekend anchor. While there he covered the Delmarva Peninsula.
Angelo’s role as the station’s morning reporter took him everywhere including the statehouses to cover the impacts of legislation on local communities and the marshes of Chincoteague Island to cover the world-famous pony swim.
Bavaro is very excited to call the Tri-State Area home once again. Before working at WBOC, he interned at the TODAY Show, Meet the Press with Chuck Todd, NBC News’ digital video unit, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Angelo’s reporting has earned him honors from the Hearst Journalism Awards Program, the National Chesapeake Bay Emmy chapter, and the Gracie Awards. During his free time, he enjoys a good Spotify playlist, a good time with friends, and a good movie.
