Prior to this, he served Talk Radio 105.7 FM 570 AM KNRS as a substitute show host. Moreover, he served KTVX as a reporter and an anchor. Additionally, he served KNRS as a substitute talk radio show host. To boot, he served KCTV / KSMO in Kansas as a reporter and an anchor. Else, he served Rockhurst University as an adjunct professor. Further, he served KAKE TV 10 as an anchor and a reporter.
From October 1983 to October 1986, he served KGBT TV 4 as an anchor and a managing editor. In addition to that, he served KSL 5 TV & KSL NewsRadio as a reporter and a Bureau Chief. During his career, he has had assignments worldwide. For instance, a school-building enterprise to Kenya and a humanitarian airlift to the old Soviet Republic of Georgia.
Also, he served on the English Channel as two brothers swam for the beaches of France and their own place in channel history. Further, he recorded the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney and shadowed the 2002 Olympic Torch Run from Athens to Salt Lake City. Else, other stories took him to Mexico, Canada, Chile, Argentina, and Guatemala. On a side note, he has visited Guatemala thrice.
